How to Store Leather

Store HEJIN products in a breathable dust bag. Avoid plastic or airtight containers. Keep away from sharp objects to preserve the natural grain.

HEJIN’s philosophy: luxury that lives, travels, and endures. Every HEJIN piece, marked with the official camel logo, is designed to be passed down—not replaced. HEJIN leather doesn't just age; it matures into a legacy. HEJIN Heritage in Motion. Luxury by Nature.

How to care for Camel Leather

HEJIN Leather Care & Maintenance

Routine Cleaning:

Keep your leather free from dust and oils to prevent premature wear.

The Process:

  • Tools: Use Microfiber cloth, mild soap, and water.

  • Dust: Wipe the surface with a dry cloth or soft brush.

  • Test: Always test any cleaner on a hidden spot first.

  • Clean: Use slightly dampened cloth with mild soap. Never use harsh chemicals or soak the leather.

  • Dry: Air dry naturally. Keep away from direct sunlight or heaters to prevent cracking.

Repairing Damaged Leather

Despite proper care, leather can develop scratches, scuffs, and cracks. Knowing how to repair these can extend the life of your leather items.

Steps:

  • Materials: Leather conditioner, leather filler or color-matching dye, soft cloth, fine sandpaper (optional).

  • Clean the scratched area thoroughly.

  • For minor scratches, conditioning may be enough. Deeper scratches may need a leather filler.

  • Apply leather conditioner to reduce the appearance of light scratches.

  • For deep scratches, use leather filler as directed, then apply a color-matching dye & let the area dry and buff to restore its shine.
